FAQ

Why do my photos look different from the viewfinder?
They should closely match. The viewfinder and saved photo use the same optical model, while the saved photo uses a higher-quality rendering path. If color or framing differs significantly, email us with a screenshot of the viewfinder and the saved photo.
Can I shoot RAW?
No. Licht saves photos in HEIC or JPEG format with EXIF metadata. In Settings, you can also keep a copy without Licht emulation alongside the emulated photo.
Which devices does Licht support?
Licht is built for iPhone and requires iOS 18 or later. iPad and Android are not supported.
How does the trial and unlock work?
New users can try all of Licht for 7 days. The trial does not renew or charge automatically. After that, you can choose a one-time App Store purchase that unlocks the app for the Apple ID used to buy it. There is no subscription.
Does Licht work without an internet connection?
The camera, image processing, and local gallery browsing work offline. A connection is needed to load, buy, or restore the one-time App Store unlock and to show online map or place-name details.
Where are my photos saved?
Photos are saved to the "Licht" album in your photo library.
Does Licht collect any data?
The Licht app does not collect analytics, crash reports, or tracking data. See our Privacy Policy for separate details about the website.
How do I change the language?
By default, Licht follows your iPhone's system language. To choose another, open Settings > Language. Licht supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Catalan, Basque, and Galician.
